A flagship 3-day build sprint (Sep 26–28) to turn a rough idea into a working prototype. No slides. No hand-waving. Just build.

Enter as a solo developer or assemble a team of up to 6 members. Pick a problem track and ship something that earns its place in the world. Mentors, APIs, and workspace provided across all 3 days.

Eligibility & Team Size

Solo entries (1 person) or Teams of 2–6 members. All code built on-site across Sep 26–28.

Timeline

Kickoff 26 Sep 14:00 → 48hr continuous build → Final Demos & Judging 28 Sep 09:00.

The Idea Pitching session is a structured competition where students present original startup ideas to a panel of industry experts and investors.

Preliminary rounds on Day 2 narrow the field. Finalists pitch on Day 3 in the Main Auditorium. Prizes include incubation support, mentorship, and seed funding introductions.

Who can register and can a single person (solo) enter?

Any college student across India can register regardless of branch or year. Yes, solo entries (1 person) are fully allowed across all tracks, including the 3-day Hackathon, Idea Pitching, and MUN. You can compete individually or as a team of up to 6 members.

What are the official dates and event durations?

E-Summit 2026 takes place over three days from September 26 to September 28, 2026 at DIT University, Dehradun. The Hackathon is a flagship 3-day continuous sprint (Sep 26–28). Other events like workshops, pitching rounds, MUN, and seminars are 1-day structured tracks scheduled across the 3 days.

Can I participate in multiple events?

Yes, as long as the events don't overlap in the schedule. You'll select a primary track during registration but can attend open sessions and workshops across tracks.

What should I bring to the 3-day hackathon?

Your laptop, charger, and any hardware you plan to use. Wi-Fi, power, meals, workspace, and mentorship will be provided throughout the 3-day duration (Sep 26–28). All code must be written on-site — no pre-built projects.

How does idea pitching work?

Submit a one-page concept brief when you register. If shortlisted, you'll present a 5-minute pitch followed by Q&A. Finalists pitch on Day 3 (28 Sep). Prizes include incubation support from CIIES and mentor introductions.

Will accommodation be provided?

Accommodation details for outstation participants will be shared upon registration confirmation. DIT University campus facilities will be allocated on a first-come basis.

Can I attend without competing?

Yes. Seminars, workshops, the talent showcase, and networking sessions are open to all registered attendees regardless of competition participation.
